Julia is a passionate artist who prioritizes human connection and celebrating women’s transformative journeys. Her work explores physical and emotional depth through richly textured abstract paintings and studies of the female form. She graduated with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Art where she studied both the mind and artistic technique/figure drawing. This time in her life deepened her passion for mental health and the human experience, which heavily influences her emotionally aware approach to creating.
Although she has lived in multiple states across the US, her time spent in Phoenix, Arizona introduced her to the “death and rebirth” of self, which she has applied throughout her life. She hopes to work with other women in which she transforms their stories and hardships into deeply meaningful art. Julia believes art is a way for people to connect through the expression of the human experience in all of its beautiful complexity.
Alongside her fine art practice, Julia offers custom pet portraits, approaching each commission with care, detail, and respect for the emotional bond between people and their pets.
